Hello all,

I am sure you all know my sick little goldfishie, Tiger Lilly. She is one out of the four beauties that live in a 20 gallon Hagen made aquarium, with a Aqua - Glo floresent light and hood.
cry3.gif I first noticed a white spot forming in her eye a moth or so ago. I took it as a sign of fungus and imediatly washed out my 5 gallon hospital tank, washed and dryed the small Fluval filter and put a clean sponge in ( no carbon), no gravel, 2 plastic plants, and a pink tube. I put her in and treated it with half a tablet of Tank Buddies ( which treats a bunch of dieases including fungus). Why half a tablet? One full tablet is for a 10 gallon, but since mine is only a 5 gal, a half a tablet does it.
Today, she is doing fine, eating and all. But I’m afraid, still in that hospital tank. She is eating flakes, a little bit every day. I just am curious to know..why the fungus has now turned black????

Does anyone know?

Thanks, I hope someone will know

Did you say the white spot was IN her eye? That doesn't sond like fungus to me.... and it certainly isn't usual for fungus to turn black.

Can you describe it in more detail or post a pic of it? smile.gif

Uh, sorry, the white spot in her eye was a drawback. Yes, fungus can start in the eyes you know, but I was susspossed to add something in to my post there and forgot. The white spot turned out to be nothing, but Tiger Lilly got fungus on her back, near the dorsal fin. wink.gif Sorry, for the mistake.
I don't think I will take a picture because it wouldn't come out very well, I don't have the right type of camera. I hope you can help though.

Please help, someone? sad.gif cry3.gif
