huh.gif Amber's ***I'll introduce you to Amber at the end of this thread*** betta died a few motnhes ago without any warning or sign of diease or ingury. Just died. Amber had just cleaned his small tank, with a good tempeture water. She went outside for a few moments and when she came back Prince Salsa ( the betta) was dead. I am just cuious to know what happened? Does anyone know?

***Amber*** is my sister. Older if you want to know it straight from the goldfish's mouth. She is 14 turning 15 soon at the end of March. She has 3 beautiful lizards. Puck is our pride & joy, and is our biggest green oriental water dragon. Wizard her oldest lizard still standing, and is quite rare, you may not have heard of this kind of anole; blue anole. And Little Guy, our new baby waterdragon. Puck is very angry at Little Guy, since we got her, and seems to think that she is something good to eat. Good thing, that little guy is fast otherwise she might not have made it. We keep them in seperate cages. If you noticed how I keep saying we, it is because, the lizards, we take care of them, together, although they are really Amber's.

Your lizards sound great!! biggrin.gif Any way you can post pics of them? My son was into reptiles for the longest time......

Oh, to answer your ?.....just guessing here, but because he died so soon after the water change, I would have to say shock from either the water temp difference or a pH difference. Sorry to hear about Prince Salsa (love the name BTW)!

My sister's lizards..not mine. But I'll ask her for a photo, and maybe she'll say yes. Not sure, you know, she's very protective of her babies.
Maybe, that is why it happened, I am not sure though. Thanks for replying!

I sounded a little hurried above..and hasty. Amber wanted to get on the computer - We * okay she* named him Prince Salsa because we bought him in Tornonto and we live in Quebec. And we drove home, so we put him in a empty salsa jar filled with water. The name just stuck. Yes, those lizards are the best, I will try and get a pic out of her although I have a few of my own, you know they are hers, and I do not like going bhind people
s backs and doing things. But I will, if she says yes!
Thanks
