I am really loving my new Betta, Grumpy! He is so cute!

This evening when I opened the top to drop in his food he started coming to the surface. I had a piece stuck to my finger so I poked it into the water.....he looked over at this "invader" and immediately did a full Flair! I was very impressed!! He IS the king of his 10 gallon world!!

I wouldn't want you to torment your fish to make him flair, but does he ever get excited long enough for you to take a good photo?

Hehehehe, bettas are SO much fun! My sister had my betta, I'm thinking I may just "have" to get a new one for my apartment.

I will try to catch a pic of him sometime! He was one scarey lookin' dude.......well, as scarey lookin' as a little one inch finned guy can look! LOL!!


((If you have an empty tank I suggest you get a Betta! They are just fun to watch!!))

wellington doesnt flare very often but if i put my finger in the tank he will try and bite me. its kinda cute...he jumps at my finger and then gets distracted by the food.
