My goldfish is HUGE...it has a huge round tummy but seems ok....could it be pregnant?

She has been this way for months......can they not lay eggs if the conditions aren't right?

She could have eggs, but it also depends on the kind of fish. Like example Orandas will always look big and plump, yes they can lay eggs anytime and they can hold them in too. This is called egg bound and has to be watched....You can post a photo using photobucket
