I have a small pond about 1-2 feet deep and about 8 x 10 feet in size. I have 5 goldfish (~10 inches in length). I think they are a "pearl scale" variety, but mostly look like regular goldfish, though slightly prettier. One has gotten so her (?) stomach is somewhere between the size of a golf ball and a tennis ball! She's been that way for nearly 2 months! Do I have a problem I need to deal with? HELP! Poor thing! She appears to be completely healthy...but LARGE! I keep expecting her to lay eggs. Any hints as to what I should do to help her out?

Is the fish with the round belly a pearlscale? If so, this body shape is normal. If you search Google for "pearlscale goldfish" you will see many photos of fish that look more like tennis balls than goldfish! Look at these photos and post back if that is the way that your fish looks.
