i now have a 29g tank. along with the 55g, the 35g, the 10g and the 5g. my cousin called me this morning to tell me she bought a new tank for her oscars and that i needed to come pick up the old 29g she had. its just a tank, no hood, filters etc but STILL! so i guess i'm going to move telly (black moor) out of the 10g and into the 29g and swap a couple fish around again. *sigh*

i'm not complaining by any means, but i wonder if the tank fairy realizes just how many addictions she's feeding right now! lol!

I'm pretty sure Miki and I will, and I'm feeling a bit ambivalent about it unsure.gif

you know, i'd heard of the crazy cat lady before...but i think the neighbors are going to start calling me that crazy fish lady soon! either that or they'll report suspicious looking lights on in my house at night! i like to turn on all the tanks at night and turn all of the lights off in the house and watch everyone swimming around. and with 4 tanks going, thats going to be a LOT of light!

congrats on the new tank! the tank fairy is putting in some serious overtime.i hear ya on the lights though. i like to leave them on too. and when im walking the dog you can see it from the outside lol. i live on the second floor so i wonder what people think when they see the python hose dropped halfway down, aimmed into the bushes (to feed them), pumping all kinds of water out. i must flood a couple times a week lol

rofl3.gif hah.gif that is too funny. just brought a funny memory to mind...my first semester of college, i lived in a co-ed dorm. the first week, a bunch of freshman decided to bring beer up to their rooms but they got busted at the door. so, to solve the problem of being caught at the door with their booze, they decided to rig up a pulley system out their window so they could haul their alcohol up to the 3rd floor without being caught! i have never seen anything funnier in my life!!! they tied their beer to the rope and started pulling it up when the Resident Director walked out of the building...all the while beer BOTTLES (who would try this with BOTTLES?? they deserved to get caught) are clanging on the side of the building. anyways- they got caught because they lost control of the line and bashed the bottles on the side of the building before dropping them into the bushes and shattering all the rest of the bottles. so in a sense, they were watering the bushes too.lol sorry - WAY off topic but it was pretty funny

The tank fairy has certainly been feeding my growing addiction. I started with a 10 gallon not long ago, and now have a 50 (but only the one goldfish and one betta).

ive noticed that my taste is getting a little more refined now tho. my decor in my tanks is much more sophisticated and i'm more picky about my fish too. maybe the tank fairy knew i wanted to do a planted tank so she's giving me the space to play!

thats what ive been searching for in the past week. a tank to do tropicals and live plants in. ive been researching here and everywhere else i can for ideas, tips, types and prices. ape wants a trop tank in our sons room so now im looking for a nice size long and short ( in height ) tank to create one in......the search continues.....maybe the tank fairy will visit me again.......

No kidding! I just recently got a 55 gal with the stand, glass hood, lights, and filter for 50 bucks at a garage sale! krazy.gif

cool! I think the tank fairy was close because i found a whole bunch of great deals for 55 gallons on kijiji but anything thats not free aint gonna cut it cause im not allowed to buy another tank but if its free....well then im sure my mom couldnt say no, then i'd use it for something like qt lol
