Holy Cow!

I think the photos speak for themselves.

Ok, so I turned the airflow down significantly. However, Tinko and Charlie still collect little bubbles on the bottom of their tummies. Do you think that will be a problem?

i wanna play in the snow too!

WOW! That is the most amazing aerator I've ever seen. It does seem a bit overkill. As for the bubbles on the fish... I don't know. I've heard that too many bubbles in their gills can be bad (air bubble poisoning caused by microbubbles).

Well, it has a little valve kind-o-thing that can turn down the froth.

Here's what it looks like now:

I like snow. hehe

WOW! That is intense! Do the fish mind? It looks like they're avoiding it in your pics tongue.gif

As for possible problems, I really have no idea. It does look amazing though.

Ooh, I have one of those too, but leave it turned down very low. My fish love it. They like to ride the bubbles to the top of the tank. I've had mine for a couple of months, but have never turned it high enough that bubbles collect on the fish.

Is that the Hydor Airo one? Which size is the one in your tank?

Wow,that's a lot of bubbles, lol. I thought the aerator on my Fluval 4 was bad when turned up high. Sure looks pretty tho'. Don't know if that many is a problem or not.

Thanks!

I've got it turned way down. It's making less bubbles than the airstone it replaced now. smile.gif

It is Christmas time rofl3.gif

We do not have the 4 like you, but a smaller one (I think), it also gave way to much little bubbles so we put an open statue on it and stuffed a bit of spare filter-sponge in it. Now we have a combination of big and small bubbles.

Those pics where taken after we just installed it. they thought it was food. Godzilla thinks everything is food rofl3.gif

you can see the sponge in this pic
