is it okay to put a hillstream loach in with goldfish???

I had a hillstream loach and I absolutely adore those little guys! They are so cute and mind their own business, regardless of the pesky GF. Also, their bellies are translucent so when they suck on the glass you can see their little hearts beating. In my experience, yes, hillstream loaches are very compatible with GF.

The enviroment hillstreams require is differant to that of goldfish. Hillstreams prefer to live in fast flowing currents which goldfish dislike. They are also group fish and its best to have a group of 3 tho 5 is the recommended minimum for this type of fish. Heres a link for you full of info on the breed
