I think they can be quite pretty even though not like the boys of course! They cost less, too and still have cute personalities. Anyway, a couple of my boy gups passed away recently so I thought I'd try another girl and if she's pregnant then cool! I'd love to raise some little ones. My local mom and pop pet store will take fish so that part will work out as well.

She's so pretty! The ones at my LFS aren't nearly that pretty!

I would get a male..then let the action begin..and soon you can get lots of store credit.

I now have 2 females and 2 males. One girl is in my 20 gal tank with platies, catfish and a betta girl. This new female guppy is in a 5 gal with the 2 males. I've been watching to make sure they don't chase her too much but it's funny--sometimes she turns around and chases them!! The boys are definitely interested but most the time they seem to get along fine and actually give her some space.
