My biggest black skirt tetra named Fin (the one i rescued from the tiny school tank) seems to have his mouth kinda stuck open. He can move it a little bit but cant close it fully, he still seems to b getting food but should i b worried about anything? Im thinking maybe it happened cuz of my chinese algae eater, sometimes he'll just suddenly dart forwards which sometimes scares the other fish if they're infrot of him, maybe he tried to move ut of the way and bumped into something cuz i've seen that happen before, especially now that Ish (cae) is getting bigger he does that alot

If he's eating I wouldn't worry too much. I've actually had this happen a few times with different tropicals. I often wondered if they'd been grabbed by another fish or something, it's as if their jaws are dislocated. The fish I had that were like this always seemed fine too, they just looked weird.

ok thanks. he still eats actively, just recenty i opened it up and dropped in the food and he came up and splashed a whole bunch of water all over my foot and the carpet!

How big is this guy???? I have 3 blackskirts and they are all about the size of a quarter.

pretty big, about 1.5 inches, biggest out of all 3, big enough to splash a ton of water lol
