i finally got some good pics of my betta. ive decided that he really needs a name...after you've looked at the pics....any suggestions?

Those are great pics, nice betta and nice tank too. You could always go for a 'B' name like Barney or Bruce ...

thanks! i only had to take 150ish to get these . he made it incredibly easy tho. he posed! i'm not kidding!! he would flaunt his stuff over and over in the front of his tank. first he would swim this way and flutter his tail out and then he would peek around a plant and look innocent...it was really cute. i've never giggled while watching fish before. i'm really starting to realize how much of a personality each of the fish has. i think i'm hooked.

That is betta heaven! Wow, even though the plants are plastic but what a really fresh-looking tank

i actually changed his plants to silk once....he stopped playing in them and ignored them completely and started acting a little depressed. he plays under the leaves at the bottom of the tank when there's plastic in there. i'm hoping to move the plastic out of there one by one and replace it with silk and see if he likes it better that way. we'll see.

He is a real beauty. A royal blue with red wash. pretty little guy and what a neat tank he has

I just bought a new 5g hex for my office at work, yours looks really well.

I have not decided how to decorate mine yet. I'll get it figured out today though.
