Just now (8:45pm, May 07,2008) i found one of the
Plecos eating one of my goldfish that I breed when it was a baby. Most of its scale are gone. I'm guessing that Plecos don't go well with goldfishes!
I'll be taking out the two Plecos out of my fish tank. Is there any suggestions how to fix this problem?
Please Help.

- What you feed your fish
- How often you change water
- What water conditioner you use
- Any medications that you have added to the water

What type of pleco do you have? A bristlenose or rubbernose pleco is ok for goldfish, they don't grow very big, about a maximum of 13cm or 5".
If most of the scales are gone on your goldfish it is most likely that the fish was already weakened and sick, making it an easy target for the pleco. If this is the case it might be too late for your goldfish. Please answer the questions that Acupunk posted and we will try to suggest a treatment regime.
It depends how big and hungry the pleco is, some common plecos have made a meal of a perfectly heatlhy goldfish when hungry enough.
