Today it's warm and sunny. I was fixing the pond plants and decided that I had to take out some fish too!
Everything is in place, and a new fresh net is waiting.

The plants, fake and real, and the ducklings!

Pondside plants.
Netted and ready, waiting for fish!

Hello, I'm Angus!

I'm too big for the bucket...

All of them!
I'm free, says Angus!

The pond is alive again!

BTW Daniel, how is your "X-pond", the half barrel,
He's warming it up with the remaining minnows and molly babies.
It should be good for the summer now.

Wow, Anette - your pond is up and running again!!

After all that snow, it must be so wonderful to see plants and green grass again. Those fish are going to be happy little campers in the pond. And I just love the set of kobalt blue pots for your plants - they look awesome!

What is the yellow blooming plant in the pond? Is it winter hardy?

Thanks! Yes it is lovely to see green grass and flowing water again.
The plant with yellow flowers is a Caltha Palustris, you call it Marsh-Marigold.
It survived the winter just fine, I was surprised!

It has been raining, the pond has been filled.
Some new pics!

From above!

The fake duckling is trying to hide some food for Angus, but he finds it!

All 5 fish (lousy pic...)!

Wow, it is looking real nice.
I wish the temp here wasn't so willy-nilly or i would try my hand at a pond too! Went from being 58f yesterday to being 91f today.

That looks great!! I just love your pond, and the rocks and everything.
For a second I really thought those ducklings were real, then I saw the netting going over them. LOL!

That's a great pond! Your fish sure look happy... and huge!
What pump are you using? Did it come with the fountain head?
