This is the result of several weeks ago when I went on spring break and my father unplugged the tank filter unknowingly, and we came back and she had these ulcers, they are seeming to heal but slowly. I think she won't make it through the night.

Trico, can you describe the ulcers? Are they just red sore spots looking like small round burn marks- or are they raised and pus filled looking -or just see-through blisters. There are all kinds and each kind tends to indicate the work of a different bacteria.

Maracyn 2 needs to be used in the dark, or certainly dim light. It is de-activated with light you see. Have you covered the tank with a clean towel and turned off any overhead tank light? I would do that to keep stress low and maximise the effects of the minocycline.

How many ulcers are there in the middle of the fish? Have you seen her poop at all? Is it normal looking?
Trico
Well they were like indented nasty sore looking areas, and they seem to begin to be covered up by her slime coat, or at least look like the fish is healing itself. I'll try again this morning and see if she eats, I'm soaking food right now.

Any chance of a pic?
Don't forget the dim light with the Maracyn 2. Hope she is eating.
Trico
She passed.
