Ok... my black moore got sick with this white cotton looking stuff, i removed the snails and put them in my 10 gal with filter, gravel, light, and soon to have an air pump when i get the money... the snails are way more active, and they aren't being picked on (my big red oranda decided he likes to bully them)... it seems that the fish are happier and so are the snails... the 2 mystery snails in that 10 gal are fun, but I wish I could have some fish in there... what fish that are totally non-aggressive would work with the 2 mystery snails in the 10 gal? I know goldfish are supposed to be non aggressive community fish, but the one big one loves to mess with the snails... i was thinking maybe cory catfish, i really dunno how they work with snails tho, i couldn't find info about that... any other fish that anyone can think of that would work well, even small fish? it's a small tank after all... thanks!

I have 2 mystery snails in my tropical tank, which you can see in my sig has gouramis, danios, tetras, and several catfish. None of the fish bother them and the snails zip around the tank undisturbed. My rainbow shark will sometimes sniff at them out of curiosity, but it hasn't tried to bite them or anything-yet (apparently its supposed to get more aggressive when it gets bigger...). So yeah, I think any of the smaller community tropicals will do nicely with your snails in the 10 gallon. Probably not the danios though since they're pretty active and a 10 gallon just wouldn't provide enough space for them to really have fun.

i really like cory catfish...i might go with those... but I was also thinking about aquatic frogs, i know NOTHING about them ,but I'd like to do some research, i read online that someone was keeping mystery snails and aquatic frogs together with no issues... I'd like to learn more about that.

The only reason the goldies are aggressive towards your fish are because they are bigger than the snails, and, generally, anything smaller than them tends to be FOOD.

Like pumpkinPatch said, small tropicals would likely do just fine. I had a friend who kept gouramis, neon tetras, zebra danios, and cory cats with a snail and never had a problem with the snail.
