Test Results for the Following:
Ammonia Level? 0
Nitrite Level? 0
Nitrate level? 5.0 - 10
Ph Level, (If possible,KH and GH and chloramines)? 7.6
Ph Level out of the Tap? 7.6
Tank size (How many Gals) and How long has it been running? 20 gallons and has been running from Dec 10
<LI>What is the name and size of the filter/s? Aqua Tech 20-40 and a aqua tech 5-15
<LI>How often do you change the water and how much? every week 30%-40%

How many fish in the tank and their size? 2 Fantail around 4 Inches.
<li>What kind of water additives or conditioners? cycle
<li>Any medications added to the tank? no
<li>Add any new fish to the tank? no
<li>What do you feed your fish? for now Medi-Gold may 2 is going to be 21 days
<li>Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt", No
bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus? No
<li>Any unusual behavior like staying
at the bottom, not eating, ect..? eating well but staying at the bottom sometimes but very active sometimes i see they still


well since it got warmer over here like 1 month ago my 2 fantail started acting weird i mean they eat fine but they just bottom sitting i started feeding them medi gold... there water is fine i do my weekely water change. i just did a 50% water change 2day i hope that helps . does anyone know y they are acting weird im worried.

Are they acting weird all the time, Sally, or just periodically? What sticks right out of your stated facts is that you use Cycle - this is not a dechlorinator or water conditioner, only a treatment that supposedly contains bacteria to boost the cycle in the tank. Are you on well water, or city water?

not all the time but sometime one of them looks sick. i always make the water set out for 1 week b4 changing the water. im on well water. do u think its the change in the water temp? is there something that i can make the water cooler? my sis was thinking about making ice and putting it in the aquarium?

Just wondering what temperature your tank is now, compared to before?
Also, is there a reason you sit the water for a whole week?
Is the well your own or is it managed by the city ie. does it have any disinfectants added?
Sorry for all the questions - just trying to understand more about the water source.
