Miki and Akio have spawned in my pond finally! She was very full of eggs and 7:30 am 4/23/08 she laid eggs. I saved 11 heres some pics!

Awww thanks Hon! Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen Bubble-eye/Oranda Gf before...I've tried the web but can't find anything.. Miki is still full of eggs so I'm sure she will have more Fry soon. Akio is most definitly the Stud of the pond..He struts his stuff well with the ladies

Wanted to update you guys on the fry..They are all doing great and just turned 1 week old today!

Update..Fry are 10days old today and growing like weeds! I have put them in the 10g now heres some pics This is their 10g.. they get natural light during the day.

Me too! They are all thriving so well...They are showing personalities already and love to swim together. They have started to come to the glass when I'm looking into the tank.Yup, they are growing like little weeds! Yeah, it's just a 10g I'm getting ready to put them into a 30 g.

The bubbles dont show until a few months..But since they are half Oranda theres no telling what they are going to look like. I will prolly get some bubbles with wens..lol heres a pic of the biggest fry..You can see his little eyes..

Oh my stars I love bubble-eyes!!!!!! I have a white one myself. There just so.... so.... entertaining Im really, really curious in what they will come out to look like. I hope some look like Miki. Shes adorable.

Yes they sure are! Miki is fun to watch those eyes just bouncing everywhere in the water is hilarious! She's really enjoying pond life also I'm not sure if she will spawn again because Akio the father has lost his stars.. She's still very full though..LOL! That's adorable! Are you expecting?

Update! Fry are 5 weeks along and all 11 are doing wonderful I've been very busy so I haven't been able to log in lately..heres some updated pixs.. notice some are getting colors. They are eating several times a day and I'm offering alot of new foods such as glassworm and greens now.
This is one that's getting wonderful color..

Thank You for the kind words! Deb, The wens start to grow about 3 months after birth.. The bubbles about 6 months. Although this can vary from fish to fish. These babies have been growing so well that I think we may see wens/bubbles sooner. I hope! Heres more pixs taken tonight.. They are soooo sweet! I got these great pixs of them checking my fingers out.. When they nibble it tickles!..
