Today I put a 7 inch bubble wall in my 20 gallon tank for my black moor. He has been extremely active ever since. Does this mean it makes him happy? I have never seen him swim around this much. But anyways, I've been wondering if I should turn off the bubble wall at night so he can rest? Like I said, I've never seen him this active and I don't know if it's because of the current or not.

It seems he must like the bubbles or the current it makes! You can turn them off at night, but it's better to just make a place in your tank without much current so that your fish can rest whenever s/he needs to, not just at night.

The "happiness" may also be because you have now achieved adequate water turnover to the surface - providing good oxygenation for the nitrogen cycle as well as for your fish to "breathe". It would be like coming out of a smog filled room into mountain fresh air - it makes you feel good.
I would suggest, that if you can, you leave the bubble on, night and day. They are obviously a good thing in your tank.
