I know many of us think that goldfish are the messiest fish out there (except a few catfish and such) but I personally think that platies r the messiest fish i've seen, every platy i've owned produced about twice as much waste as any of my goldfish, I clean the tank real good each week yet the bottom is almost always completely covered in fish poop and I've got 2 filters running on the tank. Anyone else experience this? My smallest platy ate a little bit of algae from the plant in the tank yesterday and after that she pooped 3 times in a row!! I've never seen a goldfish do that...
