i got a male guppie and he is so fat. Hes bigger than my female guppie. Ok but anyways he's gulping for air. My other two guppies are fine. Does anyone know y he is doing this

What size tank are they in, and do they have filtration? Thats one reason fish gasp, is lack of oxygen. Second, are you sure its a male? If its large and fat its most likely a female. How long have you had the guppies and is their tank cycled?

Hes in a 5.5 gallon tank, i got a mini aqura filter. They have been in the tank for about 1-2 months. Hes a male because he is brite in colours.
