I have set up a bare bottom 125 gal for fancy golds and put two Aquaclear 110 filters on it. Each filter is 428 gph for a total of 856 gph. Is this enough filtration for my 125? Also how many fish should I stock it with.
tks.

Hello and Welcome to Koko's! smile.gif

That's a nice sized tank! exactly.gif
Ideally, filtration for goldfish should be 10X the tank size. So you should have 1250 gph total. It's okay to run less, but you would have to keep less fish than if you had the 10X.
I looked up the Aquaclear 110's, and the info I found said that they had 500gph. Did your box information say 428? If you can, perhaps you could fit another filter on to bring it up to the ideal amount. smile.gif
Fancies should have 10 gallons per fish, so you could easily have a dozen in there with proper filtration.

We'll need to see photos when you have it set up! biggrin.gif

I have a single 110 on my 75 gallon tank, but I'm also running 1 sponge filter with air and 3 stacked with a pump. Maybe add a few sponge filters?

A couple sponge filters is a great choice for supplementary filtration

On my 90 gal I run 2 AQ110s & a Fluval 102. I have 7 goldies in there. I religiously do good sized weekly water changes & clean the gravel real well. My tank always looks good & my fish are healthy & happy!
