biggrin.gif Hi, I have a 2 gallon aquarium with 3 cory catfish, 2 zebra danios, and some snails. Is it okay to kepp my goldfish in this aquarium???
Fishyfan
No!! Goldfish need a minimum of 10 gallons all to themselves so your tank would be way too small. I should say that your tank is overstocked as it is so please don't add anymore fish.

I agree, that's way too much for a 2gall as it is (only 1.6UK gall). I wouldn't keep anything in that tank, not even a betta. Maybe the snails.

How long have you had them like this? Is it filtered or anything?

I agree with the 2 posters above me.
In my case i wouln't put any thing in it.
I would use it maby for a hospital tank for O ther types of fish

(Not goldfish to small)

I wouldn't even do that, it would be too hard to keep clean and would never cycle or anything.

My hospital tank is 8.5UK/10US

oops!!! I just noticed that I wrote 2 gallon, the tank is really 20 gallons!!

That's good!!! I know most people wouldn't put goldies with tropicals but I personally see no problem with it as long as the water's an ok temp for both and that both are provided for.

I would only put one in though. I don't know whether it's fish you are thinking of buying of fish you already have?

I know that people will go against what I tink, though! rolleyes.gif

I personaly don't like the idea of haveing tropicals and Goldfish
together.

They both need diffrent types of care.
But you can do it do so lol biggrin.gif
