Awww I gave Near his first peas today too! He pretty much turned into a shark for them krazy.gif It was quite funny watching him eat them, I don't think I boiled them softly enough and he kept chewing them, spitting them out and then chewing, spitting, chewing - so funny watching goldfish chew!!! hah.gif

I haven't tried orange yet, but broccoli went down really well. I'm going to try grapes next. I also read on teh site somewhere that you can give them eggs? I'm not quite sure how to go about that one, though

How did you serve the broccoli did you cook it how did you feed them?

Well I chose the smallest branch of broccoli from the bag, no bigger than half the size of my thumb, boiled/microwaved it in tank water, same as with the peas and then put it in a clean jam jar that my fish can fit it, and then put this into the tank. Some people cut the dark green bubbly bits off the stalk and put them in the tank. Either way, the fish has an awful knack for making a mess, that's why I put it in a jam jar that he can easily swim in and out of. If your fish are too big for a jar, I've seen other members use small glass bowls.

Can i just hold the stalk and hand feed it lol

Oh yeah I guess so if your fish aren't scared of hands! My Near is such a crazy been, he sees anything he doesn't normally see in the tank and decides to do a marathon all around the perimetre of the tank rolleyes.gif
