I bought some plants a month ago and let them sit in a glass vase for 3 1/2 weeks. Yesterday I gave them a 2 minute bleach dip (to get rid of the snails and anything else that might live on the plants). Then I put them in a rubermade with 3-4 gallons of water treated with one (full) capful of prime. Then gave them a good rinse with tap water. Now they've been sitting in a rubbermade filled with aquarium water for the last 36 hours.

Would the plants now be compelely disinfected and dechorinated and safe to put with some fish?

That's more or less the process that Penguin and I went through with his Anubias. You sound like you've taken every precaution-- I'd say you're good to go.
