Hey guys just wondering where the snails come from there very small and there is 10 or so of em in my tank im just cleaning it out now.

Any help to tell me what they are is helpful

Did you recently add new plants to your tank? They tend to come in with those. You can try picking them out, I just let them go and they don't really do any damage. A lot of them get removed when I clean the gravel so they never really get out of control.

No i dont have plants at the moment there very tiny snails and i just clean my whole tank there there were heaps, maybe it's from the algae pellets i feed me CAE and SAE's

Usually they come from something new (and alive) that's been added to the tank. Any water added from fish store tanks? New fish?

I'm ganna assume it's from live food i gave tetra's, maybe should stop feeding them it or get a fish that eats snails.

have you transferred any ornaments fro one tank to another?

no i haven't someone else has the same problem in this forum im trying to find the page.
