I figured I'd share a pic of my 'red cap Oranda'.

When I got the fish about a year and a half ago, both goldfish were definitely red cap orandas. Cute as buttons with their little orangy-red brains.

Well, low and behold, Jeopardy started molting and now he looks like this...

His orange head is now entirely white (well, clear would be the best description, since it's paler than yellow even) and you'd never guess he used to have an orange head that covered his upper lip and everything.

Sorry for the poor photo quality. I'm not a photographer at all, and these were taken with my cell phone.)

But from what I can tell, white orandas seem to be rare so I figured I'd share.

The tank is a 10 gallon, with an Aquaclear mini for filtration. Small for 2 fancy goldfish, I know, but the fish are currently less than 2" big. Maybe 1.5 inch bodies, both of them.

Ok. That isnt too bad, but you will need to upgrade.

Okay, I didn't want you to think I'm a bad fish mom.

Here's a pic of the whole tank. As you can see, the fish still have plenty of room.
