hi there ppls...the parlscale my uncle gave to me i think its full of egg ...well i m not sure,but it look huge.....n my male parly tried to spawn with her few minitues ago ...daan i took her up n press her belly gentely though no egg has come out..but i think shes in da 1st stage of pregnancy...coz when my uncle gifted me it wasnt dis big ..yes i feed them too much..hihihi till dis month i feed them 1.5 packet of pettels n blood worms 4 times...shes not showing any bad sign,shes just swiming nicely,n also dont chase by ny of my male orandas...but still i m worried.....how can i b sure dat is she full of egg or will give egg in few days....plz let me know...

hi nahid, is your fish bottom sitting or hanging out in one place near the top without moving? Has a male fish been nudging her belly at all ? These are sometimes signs...

no its not bottom sitting or sick......it just as normal as usal...but yes sometime my male parly run after it...

If she is behaving normally she doesn't need help releasing eggs I think and will release them when she is ready

A large water change very often helps simulate spring and helps release eggs. Be very careful about handling the fish or rubbing her tummy though as the kidney is close to the surface and if that ruptures it is fatal.

i usually change da 60-70%water every todays now....ok i will b carefull with fish...but still what r da bodysign of a pregnant parlscale?can u give da link of some pregnant parly picture...if she started to give egg i hav to sepatarate her with a male right..if i separate her with 2 will there b any problem....or if i separate her with one which male will b perfect...i hav4male oaranda 1 male parlscale....which one will b gud...pllz let me know

If you want to breed your pearlscale the best partner is another pearlscale. This will give you the best shot at getting any pearlscale off-spring.

Pearlscales are a recessive gene so many of the fry will not have pearlscales. If you cross her with an oranda, chances are you will get zero pearlscales.

The best way to tell if she is pregnant is observation. Has she over a few days fattened up and are the males showing interest in her by constant chasing/nudging? These are ways to tell
