My betta Strawberry has developed a case of SBD, he cant really swim down far cause he'll float back to the top and he tips over on his side quite often. Im feeding him peas tonight, is there anything else I can do for him? Im treating him with parasite clear right now, should I add salt?

Add extra stress coat and add aquarium salt. Peas are the right thing to do, make sure to boil them and peel them and then mash them.

I would watch out on the stress coat it contains aloe vera and can cause problems with the fish's gills if used excessively. I would just stick with the peas like you plan to do Jules. The salting can help but i think that peas and fasting are your best bet.

Good advice has been given so far. The only thing I would add is; bump your temps up a little. Warm water increases digestion.

his temps have mysteriously increased by a few degrees recently so temp is ok right now. I havent had time to cook them any peas yet cause of all the homework I got after missing a week of school but Im making some tonight and i've been feeding him just very little, he has gotten slightly better, he is able to stay upright but he is still floaty at the top, i'll add some salt too
