I was just wondering if pro gold is really better than other foods? I am currently feeding hakari oranda gold. just wanted to know from people here who have used pro gold if there is a differance?

PRoGold is more accessible to me. I use the Hikari - but most of the ones I can find are floating - and I do not like floating food, so I have to use it in gel.

My fish have always grown very well on ProGold. My Ranchu fry have always grown well on the various wen developing foods - as well as straight fish and other protein foods....

I think that PRoGold is a VERY good, all around, staple food - it is one of the basics that I am never without.

Is ProGold sink food? It would drop to the buttom as soon as it touches the water?

Yes, it will sink.
