I was googling koi and this came up it is from a koi farm in Florida

thats alot of fish!!! Poor things r basically swimming ontop of each other, I sure hope theres more to the pond

It is not that bad it is a koi farm so the fish would not stay there that long. I am pretty sure that is a cropped pic

I actually saw this pic a while back when I was looking for some cool desktop wallpapers. I thought it was a painting! Is it really an actual photo? It looks kinda different in quality compared to the other pix on that site.



Edit: well i looked at it a little closer, and yeah I guess it is a real photo - go figure. The contrast/brightness just makes it look painting-like.

Farms like that will sometimes have tanks that are very heavily stocked, but as mentioned generally for a short time. They are also very heavily filters and aireated. I would guess to get that pic it was close to feeding time though!

Could somebody please fetch me that tiny little red/white koi, about 10 inches to the left of that white one?? Yeah, right, try to give that discription to the fish farmer, and I am sure he'll do his best to fetch the fish....taking about an hour or so.... jtmuch.gif
