Your koi are beautiful! Hungry little suckers lol

I can't wait til Larry and I get our own place, because then I'm building a pond for myself. I bought a couple books to learn how.

aww cute fish they're adorable, maybe i'll still b able to convince my parents to build one cause we saw one today with koi and waterfalls and my mom really liked it, she says if we had warmer climate we'd build one.....but maybe I can convince her that covering the pond in the winter and heating it isnt so bad.....

Yeah pond pigs!

As with goldie books not all the information in books is always the best information available. When the time comes let me know and I can direct you to some good sources for pond building and koi keeping.

Neat!

It won't be for a good while, because he wants to get 5 grand saved and blah blah something boring with numbers. I can't pay attention when he talks about numbers. I get lost easily. lol Anyway, I already know what I want to do as far as fish go. I'm going to put Lloyd and Winnie in it with maybe 6 other Comets. (QT'd of course) So I'd need at LEAST 160 gallons, if I go by the 20-gal-per-comet rule, but it'll probably be bigger than that. Rowan, Erato and Stardew will all go into the 55gal. And I know that I definatly DON'T want a preformed liner. I think it'd be more fun to pick my own shape.

These are the books I got: Water Gardens, Pools, Streams & Fountains by Better Homes and Gardens
The second is: All About Building Qaterfalls, Ponds and Streams by Ortho.

Neither is by one specific person.. I bought them at Menard's lol
