I like your pics

If you want some advice that Amazon Sword needs to be placed behind the wood it is too distracting. I must say though I have not seen a sword that healthy in a while.
What size is your planted tank is it a 30gal?

I have dual lighting on the 10g with the sword, one on back and one on front so that I get plent of lighting to it. I have a sword in 3 diff. tanks. The planted is a 29g. What is something I can tie Java Moss down with? That is the problem I have been having, I want it to cover the driftwood in both tanks.

Fishing line is good it does not bio degrade and is safe for the fish

Cool pics! I've always wanted a chiclid tank, chiclids are awesome! Is that a crayfish in your first pic?

Nice pictures! I especially like your brother's tank, the natural driftwood and tall plants arrangement is really cool. I used to not like tall plants in my tank (real or artificial) becuase they would topple over and droop down in the filter flow, but I've come around and really like them in aquariums. I like it when fish swim through plants and ornaments.

I love amazon sword. I usually float them for some time to get a fuller look with shorter leaves for my smaller tanks but that is the only one I had at the time. I used to have an amazon sword that was easily over a foot and a half. I had it in the back of a 55g at the bottom and it drooped over into the front glass of it at the very top.

Very neat! I bet some shade-loving neon tetras would have loved that!
I haven't tried my hand at live plants yet, but maybe in the future.....

There very fun and add a much needed challenge to it after a while. I know I get tired of taking care of the easy stuff is why I do the rebel stocking stuff and don't stock by the book.

Fish bait, huh? If you ask me, he's way too cool looking to be considered "fish bait", lol. What tank is he in?

Lol, we call them fishbait instead of crawdads or crayfish most of the time. He is in with my Africans and before anyone says anything, I am doing this for several reasons so don't lecture me on it, I know what I am doing it.
