Full Version: I Got Blue Crystal Ranchu Fry!

I do not have too many in the group that look to have decent backs (maybe none that are REALLY good), but I am seeing about a dozen that might be OK. Within the group, now, it is unmistakeable - about 1/3 of them are BLUE or BLACK!!!!

I am excited. I do so love blue and black fish!!!!

Today they graduated from hatched baby brine shrimp. I packed up the shrimp pots and stored them away.

So exciting to see how they'll develop. Blues and blacks are truly lovely.
I've never tried breeding and am so interested in everyones progress.

Oh how wonderful!

The blues are my favorites and I've been itching to find some of those crystal ranchus to see. I am green with envy!

As soon as I can afford Riz a plane ticket, you shall have the greatest pictures possible. Until then, I shall see if I can get anything in the time I have available. My camera skills are poor at best - and dismal most of the time.

Can you share your breeding set up with us? I like to breed fish too, but never with gold fish. How many breeding tanks do you have and how big are the tanks?

Is it easy to breed gold fish?
