I give my little tri-pod tail the same care as I give my comets. I was wondering are there things that I should/ should not do compared to my comets? She's a bit slower than the others, but during feeding time she's very determined to be there first biggrin.gif

I feed pellets, pre soaked of course, peas once a week, twice a month some fruit. And a day of fasting every 14 days, I don't seem to manage to do it every week biggrin.gif

The fish I'm talking about is the one in my avatar.

That fish is so cute!!!

I have several tripod-tails and they are a little slower swimmers than the singletails.
Otherwise they are quite normal! biggrin.gif

There is an other difference that I've noticed: she seems smarter than the other fish. She learns faster, she was the first fish to start begging, and the first to follow me, when she saw me. When you are not fast be smarter biggrin.gif

The opposite is true for my Godzilla she is very fast, but not the brightest bulb rofl3.gif

As we say in Sweden, what you don't have in your fins you have in your head... or was it so... ! unsure.gif biggrin.gif

My tri-pod tail seems to swim just as fast as the comets and just as effertlessly.

She came with the house we bought. Boy were we suprised blink.gif . I found her with 7 comets in a little wooden pond with very dirty water almost 4 months ago. I've learned a lot in that time about goldfish. biggrin.gif

When I came home this evening my fish were already sleeping. Everyone sleeps in 'the open', exept for Quasi, she sleeps in one of the ceramic pots. So cute, to bad I didn't had my camera at the ready.

Strange that she is the only one who sleeps in them. I know the pots are to small for Godzilla, but she usually sleeps under the internal filter, if she grows an inch or two she might have to consider a new sleeping spot. Mayby because Quasi is the smallest in he tank and is more susceptible to the current that she likes to sleep in the pots?

I really have to get a few pictures of her so that I can enter the pic of the week contest. biggrin.gif It is harder to get a good shot now she is zooming along in the big tank.
