500 gal. pond. Local water has chloramine. Due to evaporation I need to add 25 gal. once a week.
The water conditioner I use says 1/8 cup every 500 gal. So..do I add the 25 gal., then 1/8 cup to the whole thing. ..or just enough to do the 25 gal....or what.
Are there any inexpensive filters I could hook directly to my fill hose?
Thanks for the help.

it's only added to the new water so you would only treat the water you put back in thats how I do it anyways

sorry I can't help on the filter stuff

I know of no filters for the hose but you only add the amount your are going to add. When adding 25 gals just put in a small bit and you will be fine....i do not even measure when its small amounts like that.

There are filters avail at home depot, lowes and many RV stores that do a decent job of filtering out a lot of contaminates. I've used a variety over the years and the water always tests out ok.
