Every morning when I feed my tropicals, they swim right up to me, excited that it's food time! Hurry up! is their usual attitude. So this morning, I thought it was kind of weird that everyone was sluggish, completely ignoring the food (definitely not the correct reaction!) and the only one up and rearing was Mr. Piggy, one of the guppies. He ate with his usual gusto and probably more so, seeing that no one else was coming up for food. I'm thinking, what's wrong, little guys? when I notice the temperature was down to practically 60 degrees! yikes.gif The normal temperature is 78 degrees. I had done a water change the night before and turns out the heater plug had loosened just the slightest bit from the outlet so it wasn't working and the temperature dropped over the night. The drop was gradual and the little guys are doing better now that the water has warmed back up, but I feel horrible. The poor little guys!

Ah poor guys. At least they are all ok. You should treat them to a nice meaty(bloodworms) treat to help them gain some energy.

lol, I love hi-d's interpretation of what really happened.
