Kuli_Loach
I have these plants left over from my tropical tanks and I want to know if they would be ok with goldfish...

Brazilian Pennywort
Amazon Sword
Parot feather
Wisteria
Italian Ven...Somthing like that, it's a long leaved plant

All plants are okay with goldfish some are just going to be eaten and not live lol. Usually the bigger leaf plants fair alright as they are too large to be eaten. The penny wort and the parrot feather will probably get eaten but the others will do okay the water wisteria will do great as it is a fast growing plant smile.gif

How many watts of lighting are you planning to run on this goldie tank and how large will the tank be?
Kuli_Loach
Well I am now thinging of using the 30g for goldfish and using the 29g as a planted as I have a Current 45 Watt 460 acentic and 10,000K light on it.

acentic?? Did you mean actinic

Actinic lighting is useless on a freshwater tank planted or not it is made for corals you probably use it on your saltwater tanks. Full spectrum lighting or (10 000k lighting) is good but what is the wattage of the bulbs?
Kuli_Loach
It was for s/w and I moved it all to a 55g so I have an extra light. It is a double bulb 45 watt I think so 90 watts? My new light for my 55g is 260 watts.
