I can't even tell you how happy it made me that Lumos feels safe enough in his new home to build one!
I put my face next to the glass, and had just gotten out of the shower so I had a towel wrapped around my head, and he inflated his beard as if to say WHAT ARE YOUU???!!
It was so funny!

LOL that is really funny.
Sparky hasn't even considered a bubble nest. We've had too many issues since he found his new home.

Please explain.... What is a bubble nest? It sounds like it's something you want you're betta to do

A bubble nest is what male bettas make to house the eggs during breeding. They blow little bubbles and push them up to the top so there's a cluster of them at the surface. It just means that they're happy and ready to mate.
