Ive decided to add my Oranda's to my 125g since my mother n law didn't want the pond after all.. so I've been working on it lately.. excuse the dirt everywhere..I'm going to be cleaning up the area tomorrow.. theres an Iris and fish safe elephant ear in there.. just as soon as we are into Spring I can start landscaping.. The 125g has a net over it.. I'm getting more stone to put around it soon.. I have a good filter pump in there making the water flow out of a decorative pump in the plants..

aww that si cute! Your oranda will love it! The soil/dirt where you live seem to be sandy and soft.

~sighs~ i wise i had the time to get into a pond. Im still scared about the raccoons! My dad has a great pond in his back yard, they are so peaceful to watch! All the neighbors come over sit on his bench and feed the fish

hahaha lol but would that just mean it would be softer and easier to dig? Um maybe having grass will make it less messy
