I was reading about Lolafish's new guppies, and her trouble finding food small enough for them, and I got to wondering about my own fish-feeding habits.

I feed my zebra danios and neon tetras once a day, anywhere between 7:30 and 9 pm. I rotate three foods for them: flakes, freeze-dried bloodworms, and veggies (either peas or broccoli).

Would it be better to feed them twice a day? (If yes, would a 3 pm and an 8 pm feeding work?)
Should I throw in another source of protein, for variety? (Like what?)

The fish seem to be very healthy currently, this is more for my own curiosity than anything.

If what you're doing is working, why change it? Some people I know feed their fish twice a day, but some feed them every other day, it just depends on what your fish need.

And the more variety the better, but it sounds like you've got a pretty good mix already.

OK, thanks smile.gif You have a good point about "don't fix it if it ain't broken".
