I went out and bougt some peas this morning after reading through all your replies to my post. Thanks for all the help by the way!
So, nuked them in the microwave for a second or two, mashed two up and holy cow the feeding frenzy!
I made sure everyone got a bite, Newbie my comet was a total pig!
It was great fun to watch

LOL my kids love watching me give my fish treats My pearlscale goes crazy !!!!when foods involved she swims as fast as any comet. I have to distract her at the otherside of the tank so my other fish wont starve.

I made some spinach the other day and fed it to my two Orandas, holy cow they loved it! It did make a mess in the tank though, peas are much cleaner!

Mine love peas, its a feeding frnezy. The loaches go mad, they 'steal' some pease, stuff their mouths, then go and hide in their places and munch away. The goldies are big pigs, they stuff their faces like hamsters and munch for ages.
My kitten loves watching me give peas, as he loves them too, I have to make some seperatley for him.

My loaches do the same thing with peas, grab one and dash for the coconut house.

hi guys i by reading dis thread i thik some fish like somethink and son dont like something..but mine r huge fond of food they luved everything so far.pea,orange r da most.but mine on
 like orange more.it become a orange frenzy...loli
give my fishes orange or pea after they finish the
food.like sweet-dish.

yer kusackaid my kitten loves peas, my mum got him in from the garden today by shouting peas!!
Mine also love their lettuce.
