I have been wanting to do this for a year now. The tanks seals are starting to peal and last time I did a scrub on the front almost half of one seal come off. Also the seals are blue and I hate that and the tank has some pretty bad scratches on it from the Oscar that lived in it for 10 years. Also the lid has been needing to be redone or replaced the seam down the middle is gone.
I did try to talk my husband into resealing it but he does not care to do that and they fish would have to live in buckets for several days.
So I have the money and plan to go get it tomorrow afternoon.
I plan to save 35ish gallons of the water and I have the three cycled filters. I well remove my river rocks but only plan to put maybe half or so of what I have back in to make cleaning easer but still have some algae for my BN to chew on.
Is there anything else I need to be carefull of to insure all my fish make this move with no problems?
I did think about upgrading to a 90 gallon but this tank is already to tall five more inches would really make it a pain to clean.
I even thought about downgrading to a 55 cause the 75 is too deep for me to take care with ease, but I still have five goldfish and the BN in there and even with the extra filtration I am just don't think it would be good for them. Really wish I could but....
Thank you for any tips you might have to offer.

It is set up only took 3 hours. lol I found a 3rd BN pleco baby even smaller then the other two.
The tank has black trim instead of the wood trim like my old one. Don't look to bad. Seems all the new stuff is black cause the cabinets are black. May have to paint the cabinet? Sort of hate to do that would have to shut down the tank and days to dry oh well since my whole house is garage sale special and nothing matches think I can live with it. lol
My batteries are dead but well try to get pictures later this evening.
I did not put all the river rocks back in and I have a bubble wall in the back for looks sure don't need the circulation with three filters on it. lol
