There is a video to show how it works, but I can't get the video to work at work. So I'll try when I get home.

It's a cool idea. Personally I think it is not suitable for gf tank.

1. the filter doesn't remove Nitrate.
2. I am a believer of growth inhibitor. and no body can remove it either.

So I better stick to water change method.

I really like his idea though.

I cannot get the movies to work, but he does say that this is not meant to replace water changes - but to supplement them. He changes water , using this machine and then, AFTER changing the water, continues to filter and clean the rest of the tank with it. What he is saying is that if he removes a lot of the waste BEFORE it is transformed into nitrite/nitrate, then he has less nitrate to worry about in future water changes. This is true.

As far as I can tell, though, it is merely a slick design for a power water pump with a nice filter included - such that you can filter as you suck your way around the bottom of the tank rather than just use the removal of water/waste to clean a tank. That is a good idea - but nothing new.

I got the intro video to work...it's through You Tube. The set up video doesn't seem to work though.

The concept is cool. Kinda pricey though for the average fishkeeper. But as time goes on, I'll bet more units like that are manufactured. I do agree that the Python wastes a lot of water, although it is very efficient for its intended use.
