But the remaining three rasboras are still kicking and healthy, along with the little white-tipped ancistrus I bought with them. George the ancistrus is apparently some newish species, recently discovered anyway--the guy at the store said he didn't have an L-number yet and that he hoped the species would become more well-known because they stay REALLY LITTLE. George is only two inches long! He gets shrimp pellets and algae pellets and is still a shy guy, but seems very happy. Because I can never find any more around here, the rasboras picked up and moved to the 5g, where they hang out in the upper area of the tank and cavort while the ADFs lurk below. I really need some pictures of that tank...
Here's George, he's in his "I'm hanging out on the gravel" colours. He turns darker when he's on his driftwood.

Since the rasboras are in the 5g, some Sparkling Gouramis (wee little pygmy ones) moved into the 10g. Here's my best shot of one, I use it as an icon on livejournal, though it doesn't really show how beautiful they are in the right light, with iridescent blue spots on the side, and red fringes on their fins.
the 10g. I really like it. I eventually caved in and bought that reef ornament I'd been eyeing (it's resin, not hollow) and I love it. George likes to hang out at the bottom, and the gouramies sometimes hide in the holes as well.
I don't have a proper 5g pic (but I spent a few hours building rock "caves" recently out of river stone and aquarium sealant, so when that's all cured and set up, maybe I'll post it) however here's a closeup of one of my ADFs.
I also have a betta boy in a 2.5g by my bed, nicely heated with a little filter and he's perky and wiggly--I used to have him at work, until we moved buildings and apparently the "no live animals" rule extends to fish, because goodness knows, a fish could totally bite someone
But yeah, that's my stuff.
