Hi, I could use some expert help with my goldfish. I treated him for some tail spots that looked like fungus (white cottony balls that were raised on both sides of tail fin) or bruises a month or so ago with a pimafix treatiment.
it look like it resolved. Now I notice a large raised spot on the head and the same kind of tail spots. Head bump is under the skin. Not sure how long it may have been there, perhaps more than 1 week. He is not eating much.
I don't have a hospital tank. Would like suggestions for how to treat. Thanks, John Note: I can email a digital photo, but I don't know how to paste a photo here.

Hello there and welcome to the site.

I'm just about to sign off but I'm sure Trinket will be on soon and able to help.

Unfortunately the lack of space combined with the infrequent water changes is virtually guaranteed to give your fish problems. If they are large they really need to be in a much bigger tank - if they're commons >50gals, if they fancies >30g. And water must be changed weekly at least - in such a small tank I'd want to do 50% every couple of days.
Many people here use photobucket to host pics so if you are able to post some shots it would be very helpful.

Off to bed but will check in tomorrow.
