Hi Alistair welcometo.jpg i am also a resident of Australia i live in sydney smile.gif

Blackmoors are okay in a pond just make sure they get enough food, protection from predators and since they are fancy goldfish they prefer slightly warmer water 20-25 degrees celcius oh and i would not keep them with single tailed goldies ie. comets and commons etc

Hi Alistair, not sure of your pond set up, but if you are going to put any fancy (short bodies/short sighted etc.) goldfish outdoors try and build in a cave or ledge that they can swim under to stop any herons/kookaburras from making a quick lunch. Fancies tend to be slow swimmers and often can't get away from birds.
