As some of you may know, I replaced the gravel in my tank with riverstone a week or two ago. Initially there was a bit of an ammonia spike, but I stirred up SO much waste from removing the gravel that I figured it was just from that. Well now a few water changes later, I'm still getting an ammonia reading. It's always been 0 before, and now it's around 1 mg/L. However, my nitrites are still zero and my nitrates are around 10. I don't know what's going on.

I dont' feed my fish a lot, usually only once a day, so I don't think there's more waste than usual. I do have four plants and the fish break them up a bit, so that pieces are floating around a lot. Could it be them rotting? Or did I just remove too much bacteria with the gravel? Ideas anyone.....
