Okay, as I said before, my PH out of the tap is 6.8. I did a wc today about 11:30am; a BIG wc. I just checked my ph in the tank and it is 7.0. It climbs as the time goes on. I checked my ph before my wc today and it had climbed from 6.8 to 7.2 in 24 hrs. Why is this??? I have no coral or anything in the tank other than river rocks.

I don't know if this is the answer, but your question reminded me of reading this on the page about NovAqua+:
QUOTE
NovAqua+ buffers tap water When tap water is used, it comes out of the tap greatly reduced in oxygen. When tap water that is low or devoid of oxygen comes in contact with the air, its pH fluctuates rapidly while it is picking up oxygen and carbon dioxide.
