My 60gal tank finally finished cycling yay i am so happy i am dancing

not really it was almost 7 weeks

Congrats Daniel! my tank is stepping into the 8th week today, but still no sign of nitrate. but the nitrite is starting to lower now, hehe YAY! ammonia is 0 - 0.1ppm for the last couple of weeks

I am a bad pet owner. LOL WHat is cycling? OooooUuu!

cycling is the process of building a colony of beneficial bacteria in your filter here is a link with the nitrogen cycle read this it will help your fish

it already has fish in it i did a fish cycle it has my blue oranda - pearl, my pearlscale - beany and my calico ryukin - Akira, also due to an unforseen accident with my above ground pond i have 3 shubs in there i do water changes every other day and everyone gets enough food.

Beany was 1/2 an inch when i got him 9 weeks ago and now is just a bit bigger than 2 inches, pearl is now close to 5inches and Akira is close to 7 inches all with out tail

edit: i measured akira i meant to put 5inches and pearl is 4.5inches
