Full Version: Is My Dojo Dying?

I have a dojo in my 40 gallon tank. He was doing fine in there for a long time, but lately he's been hiding under my skeleton ornament.

I used to notice him going nuts, digging into the gravel, but I thought he was just looking for food. Was he really looking for a hiding place?

The other day I couldn't find him, so I started checking the ornaments, and he was nestled into the gravel under my skeleton ornament. He moved out when I bugged him, but then the next day he went right back under it.

He doesn't look any different. He's still the same size, no bloody streaks, no bloating, no bruising, no signs of being sick other than the hiding spot.

Any ideas?

Thats the norm for Dojo's. There original name is the Weather fish. They are sensitive to Weather pressures that you and I dont feel and then they are going up or down this makes the crazy. When its a normal day they will hide more. Hes doing just fine smile.gif
